My Sweet Olivia

I just had to share a layout I completed tonight of my sweet baby girl! I am really pleased with how it turned out. One of my favorite things about digital scrapbooking is being able to blend a picture into the paper. It gives it that personal touch!

The move is progressing well. I would say we are about 3/4 of the way done with the packing. We also had our first showing today, and we'll see if the people are interested in renting it. If not, I'm not too worried. I think it will rent or sale eventually, when the time is right! I can't believe we leave in 4 days. I'm so excited! I'm really excited since it was over 100 degrees here today and the wind blew non-stop. I think the high in Provo was supposed to be in the 80's. Yeah, I'm definately excited!

Happy Birthday Boys!

I'm a few days late, but wanted to wish two of my adorable nephews a very happy birthday! I love being an aunt, and I love watching all these little ones grow and develop and learn more about their personalities. Because I have access to both of their parent's blogs, I'm going to post one of my favorite blog posts about each of these boys!

First, Alex turned 2 on the 11th (wednesday). I haven't seen Alex in over a year and a half, and I'm sure I won't even recognize him anymore. He was born 2 weeks after my Olivia. Here is my favorite post about Alex...

Second is my sweet little nephew Logan. Logan turned one on Tuesday, the 10th. I really can't believe that a year has gone by already. It seems like I was just visiting him in the hospital and holding him for the first time. Logan is always found with a big smile! Here is my favorite blog moment about Logan...

No Fair!

This is Olivia's phrase of the week! Everything seems to be "no fair". I don't know where she gets half of what she says, oh wait, it must be her older siblings!

Our trip is still going well. Poppy is on his way home, as I type this, so we are very happy about that! We will most likely return to Alamo in the morning to finish packing. A week from today will be our last in Nevada. I'm excited about so many changes in our lives, but I have to admit, I'm a bit sad to leave. We've had some wonderful memories there, not the least of which was bringing home my last two babies there. But life moves on, and we are ready for many more adventures to come!

I planted 23 tomato plants in the garden up here, at Umma and Poppy's! I can't wait to watch them grow. I absolutely love gardening and have missed not being able to do it over the past 4 years. We also bought a wagon yesterday (our first ever!) and the two little ones have had so much fun with it! I took a bunch of pictures and I will post them when I get home and back to my computer.

Surgery went well!

Just a quick update on Dad Brown. His surgery went well, and he is recovering and hoping to be home again soon. We look forward to him having this completely behind him! He is such a wonderful dad and grandfather, and it has been sad for all of us, to know that he has been in so much pain.

Olivia has really enjoyed our trip up here, and she loves her "Poppy". On Saturday, Sam was tormenting her (not really an unusual thing around here) and she ran to Poppy's bedroom door and started knocking and yelling "Poppy, Poppy, help me". It was really adorable. And the last few days, she'll walk around the house and say, "where Poppy go?" or stand at the window in the dining room and call for him. I love how much she loves her Poppy!

We got to officially see our house on Saturday, and we completely fell in love with it. It is the perfect house for our family. I took a picture of the outside, and I'll post it when we get back home. As much as I'm enjoying our little trip up here, I can't wait to go back home, finish packing and get settled in our new home and neighborhood. We even met our neighbors! They have 7 kids and some of them match up with my kids in age. We couldn't be more excited!

Off to Utah...

Well, we're leaving this morning for our last "visit" to Utah! Dad Brown is having surgery on Monday, and we want to be there to offer any help or support. Plus, it is a good chance to iron out any last minute details before moving. I'm really excited to spend the week up there. My kids already have a million things planned, and I will get a week without packing! Of course, that also means, I will get a week without packing! But, overall, I've made a lot of progress and I should be able to finish everything up when I return on the 13th.

Here is a layout I made last night for the designer I work for. It was part of a challenge where I had to use so many papers, elements, pictures, etc. It was a lot of fun, and it was especially fun to see Sam at different ages while he's sleeping. He's such a cutie!

Have a great weekend!
