Yesterday I had an hour and a half long ultrasound with the Perinatologist. I have been so nervous. Knowing that Sam was born with a chromosomal defect, makes you a lot more aware of what can happen.
But, for as much as they can tell at this point, he looks wonderful and healthy! It was such a relief and for the first time in this pregnancy, I have allowed myself to feel excited! It's amazing how much worry can hamper things. But, it was fun to see him so well (those U/S machines are amazing) and I felt such a connection! I left feeling like I just want to hold him now! But, at the same time, I'm glad I get a few more months to prepare everything!
The other kids are getting excited too. They all really wanted a girl, even the boys wanted another sister. That shows how much they adore their current baby sister! But, they are getting excited to have a baby brother. Now, if I can just get Chipper to stop calling him Kazar!
John and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary which seems so amazing! Where has the time gone? I love and adore him so much and can't even remember life before I knew him!
We're getting excited for Christmas and really looking forward to Abby and Chipper's play next week. They have been working so hard!

My Two Little Actors...
I'm so excited after the amazing performance of Mitchell and Chipper tonight! They did such a wonderful job in the production of "Alice in Wonderland"! They also seemed to have a blast, which is of course, the most important thing!
I forgot my camera, so the pics will be late in coming. Fortunately, Aunt Nancy was on the ball, remembered her camera and was our photographer for the evening! Thanks Nanc!
Oh, and don't you just love my blog background? (okay, so it might be just little bright) but it is pieced together from the designer collaboration kit we made for our store! There's a little piece of each of the amazing designer's I get to work with! I really love the little turkey! He's so cute!

The Great Pumpkin...
Happy Halloween everyone! I'm not the biggest fan of this holiday, I'll admit! I love the decorations and I don't even mind the dressing up! But going around and begging for candy, is definately not my favorite part! Well, really I hate all the candy being brought home! I mean, really, do kids really need all that sugar?
So, we've come up with a new little plan this year (inspired by an idea my friend and neighbor shared with us). When we get home from trick-or-treating this year, my kids will each get to pick out 3 candies to enjoy! Then we will put ALL the candy in a bowl and leave it for the Great Pumpkin! Tomorrow morning, the Great Pumpkin will have taken the candy and left them a family toy/game/movie in it's place! Oh, and the Great Pumpkin doesn't want to eat all that sugar either, so he/she will be throwin it away, but shhh don't tell the kids! I hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween today!
